Our client is a globally successful, family-owned company and a leader in premium health supplements and direct sales. To strengthen its scientific leadership and drive innovation, the company is seeking a General Manager Science to shape and execute its global science strategy.
General Manager Science (gn)
The role:
- Report directly to the CEO on all Product Development and Regulatory Affairs activities
- Define and implement the product development strategy in close collaboration with the CEO
- Oversee product development, scientific validation, and regulatory affairs
- Ensure scientific credibility across all markets and product categories
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, legal, and external research institutions
- Monitor global regulatory developments and ensure full compliance
- Report directly to the owner and CEO
Your profile:
- The ideal candidate combines a strong scientific background in Nutrition, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field with a genuine passionfor advancing the science of nutritional supplementation.
- PhD in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Pharmacy, or related field (required)
- Senior leadership experience in scientific or R&D roles, ideally in nutrition, health, pharma, or FMCG
- Deep knowledge of international regulatory environments
- Strong communicator with strategic thinking and business orientation
- Fluent in English; German is a strong asset
